"Winter Interlude 2023," an evening of dining and music to benefit Lee County Community Orchestra, is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 23 at 6:00 pm at the Dennis Wicker Civic Center in Sanford. The annual fundraiser returns for the first time since 2019 due to the COVID -19 pandemic.
Tickets are $40 per person with a $20 tax-deductible benefit to the orchestra. There are three ways to purchase tickets:
1. Directly from any member of the LCCO Board of Directors. 2. Online with a credit card. 3. Email LCCO to reserve seats and then mail a check to LCCO (our mailing address).
LCCO will mail you your tickets after receiving your check. In case of snow, the make-up date will be Monday, Jan. 30.
"Winter Interlude 2023" is a proud collaboration between LCCO and the Central Carolina Culinary Institute. Chef Regina Minter, Department Chair for Culinary Arts & Hospitality at Central Carolina Community College, and her students will prepare the meal and serve it buffet style. Entertainment will be provided by LCCO harpist Joe Hanna.
