LCCO Begins Rehearsals for 2022-23

LCCO is back at it! The orchestra began practicing for a new season on August 16, working on the repertoire for "American Jazz Masters," the first of four sets of free concerts LCCO presents for the community in October, December, March and May.


LCCO rehearses most Tuesdays at Lee County HS.

The "American Jazz Masters" program will include the following pieces:


Gershwin/Sayre - Gershwin in Concert

Ellington/Custer - Duke Ellington!

Satchmo! - A tribute to Louis Armstrong - Arr. Ted Ricketts

Rogers - My Funny Valentine

Porter, arr. Whitney - Cole Porter Salute

Mancini/Moss - Moon River

Miller - Moonlight Serenade

Custer - A Salute to Big Bands

Sinatra, arr. Moss - Salute to Ol' Blue Eyes


The 2022-23 season is entitled "A Sensational Season" and "American Jazz Masters" is scheduled for Saturday, October 8 at the Mann Center at 3:00 and again at 7:30 pm. See our Concerts page for dates and times for our other performances.


LCCO is always looking for new musicians. Rehearsals are most Tuesdays from 6:30-9:00 pm in the practice hall at Lee County High School. Check out the Play With Us page for more information or email us at lccorch@gmail.com.
